Promoting Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship in South Sudan

The barometer of any economy is its financial growth, and it depends on literacy as well as entrepreneurship. Based in Juba, we at South Sudan Economic Freedom Advocacy (SSEFA), promote financial entrepreneurship and literacy as a means to boost the economy. Our target audience is the youth and the students who aim to make the country more prosperous with their entrepreneurial endeavors. To make the generation more capable of understanding the economy as a whole and making informed decisions, we conduct various educational programs and workshops. We also take various innovative initiatives to make youth more aware of managing their finances to avert sudden emergencies and constraints.

As an organization committed to the advocacy of economic development, we believe that the future of a country is its youth. Today, they are even more active and interested in strengthening the economy. However, without the insights and fundamentals, making business endeavors successful can be challenging. However, at SSEFA, we simplify them for the youth of the country. In addition, we collaborate with various institutions as well, striving to empower the younger generation looking to start businesses.

What Do We Include in Our Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Program?

In the program, we include a host of services to bolster economic development. These are:

Financial Workshops and Training
We conduct various interactive workshops and training sessions that include investing, saving, debt management, etc. To empower participants, our professionals communicate with them to better understand the unique problems that they are facing and how they can overcome them.
Business Incubation and Mentorship
In this program, we assist the youth, aspiring to be entrepreneurs, to develop their business ideas. We collaborate with mentors to guide them in their journey. In addition, we ensure access to resources to help them reach their entrepreneurial goals efficiently.
Access to Financial Resources
At SSEFA, we aid budding entrepreneurs in commencing their startup journey by providing them access to financial resources. We connect them with financial institutions and investors who can provide them with the capital needed to start their businesses. Besides, we assist with navigating the financial landscape by applying for loans and grants.
